Description
Based on Haydon’s 6100 comes the million cycle environmentally sealed 6700 switch, appropriate for high cycle harsh environments, suits many actuator assemblies. Aerospace and industry need high cycle switches in computer operated systems nowadays. How does the 6700 switch achieve its goal of million cycle life? The innovative design maximizes the material thickness, temper and surface of the internal blade. Besides, the operating pin and metal housing bonds eternally with a flexible elastomer seal. Such a procedure guarantees environmental seal integrity of 1 x 10-6 Atm cc/sec. Configured for the milliamp range, the operating temperature is -85° F to +300° F.
